Hello, my name is Liliane Solomo. I’m currently 16 turning 17 next year on February 14^th. I was born in the London, United Kingdom; my parents were born in D.R.Congo and they had moved to London in 1992. My both my parents are half Congolese and French. I can speak Lingala and French but my French is quite good because I visit France2 times a year mostly on special occasion; normally Christmas and Thanks Giving.

I’m currently studying at City of Westminster College. I’m studying creative media production. I find the course very interesting, because I always had a big interest in working in the music industry since I was little. However, I’d had an interest in doing a-level media, business and English but I preferred doing just media so I choice to study Creative media production because I would get a chance to use the equipment rather than having to write about it; even though, I hope this course has a link to business. Before I joined City of Westminster I had studied at Whitefield School. I have more than 5 GCSE’s.

I have a lot of interests. During my spare time, i either go out with my friends and we either spend the day shopping or doing something useful. Sometimes, we record our days of the week together for memories, we have a YouTube channel but we haven’t had the time to upload our videos. Also, I keep myself updated with the latest fashion, read books or play sports. I have a massive interest in sports; I have been playing volleyball and netball since I been in year 6. I enjoy playing the sport because I can keep myself occupied and avoiding problems. Lastly, I create my own quotes that express how I feel; I normally post them on my tumblr blog. It’s very interesting because sometimes I get noticed for my creative in different parts of the world; I attract mostly American people because they have a huge interest too.

On the other hand, when I had finally done the video, a lot of the changes had been made, when i had recorded the video majority of the shot was not used because they were able to be done which affected my video. 

Firstly, when I had recorded my video I'd forgotten about what I had to say, so in the video I had been repeating my "mm" a lot to think of what else to say. 

Secondly, I hadn’t managed to combine the two songs i had wanted to use; i could only use one of my chosen songs which were Mirrors.

Thirdly, I hadn’t planned my time out correctly, which caused my video to not as good as I expected. 

In my video i had mainly used the close-up, long shot, established shot because whenever my study buddy and I would use the extreme close-up the camera would lose its focus. Also, because we had recorded many times with different SD cards, it had been difficult to retrieve them because they had been a lack of SD Cards available.

Describe and explain what happens in the video:

The cinnamon challenge video, the amateur attempted to swallow half a pot of cinnamon, hoping to beat the score, since the challenge was a common on the web. On the other hand, the music video was they were performing they're rapping talent in the video and how they're representing London. 

Who is the target audience for this video?

The cinnamon challenge was targeted to mostly teenagers and above because they are more mature and they had created the challenge. Also, they had mostly targeted woman because they had not been many men that had attempted the video and put on the web; this could be because most woman hardly take risks and they may had found this to be an good opportunity to show off their challenge, but majority of their viewers would have been boys because they would have been interested in why the girls has chosen to do this and their reactions. Overall, the challenge was not gender specific. On the other hand, the music video was targeted to boys mostly because they make songs about their hood and how they grew up, so many boys could relate to what they were saying. Mostly boys aged between 16 and above. Also, was targeted at record producers they wanted to make producers aware of their talent. Another point, both videos could have been targeted to teenagers because they usually have a lot of social sites they use so it will not be easy for their video's to be promoted.

These video's both appear on terrestrial broadcasting, they are sent around through social sites and mobile phones

What was the purpose of this video?

The purpose of the cinnamon challenge video was probably to just show her fans she was able to do the challenge but not complete it. Also, maybe she wanted to do it because she would have gained more viewers or she has an interest of putting her body at risk just to entertain her fans. Furthermore, the purpose of the music video was to show boys who like their music and plan to be follow their footsteps, how they do it because they express the feelings through their words. Another purpose could be, to gain viewers and have people like their video and promote it. 

Technical Aspects

Cinnamon Challenge video, the image quality was very clear; you could see the background clear enough and what she was doing. The video was not edited because she has recorded from before she entered the room until she came to close the camera herself. The video was not pixelated. The sound quality was good because even though her voice was quite loud, they had been cut of sound. However, they had been a little noise in the background sounds of vibrations; the reasons could be her kitchen may have had echoes. 

Cashtastic Ft Yungen - Stay Schemin Video the image quality was good but it was recorded during the night, so they had been a lot of dark spots in the video. Some of the scenes in the video the background were blurred maybe to set the focus on the person rapping. But, they didn’t blur the whole background, just maybe a few people behind were blurred but the rest were shown. The editing of the video was good because the producer had put the transition on fast. So the scenes switched quickly but he hadn't edited the video a lot because they would be too much scenes in different places he kept the scenes going on for some time. The sound quality was good, it was clear they had been no noise in the background. He had cancelled out the unnecessary noises.

Introduction

My name is Liliane. I’m currently 16 turning 17 next year on February 14^th. I was born in the London, United Kingdom; my parents were born in D.R.Congo and they had moved to London in 1992. But I’ve Lived in London for 16 years, I have never lived anywhere else (I always wished I had lived in another country and live their lifestyle).

I live in Colindale and Neasden because my Parents have been separated for a year now. My mother lives in Neasden and my father in Colindale and I live with my mother. I used to live in South London for 2 years but we had moved because it was harder for my siblings and me to get to school. I have 4 siblings; 1 younger sister, 2 younger brother and 1 older brother. I get along with my sister pretty well than with my brothers. We bound very well together.

I enjoy listening to music because it keeps me calm and focused. I like listening to RnB, Hip Hop, Grime, Pop, Dubstep music; but I mostly listen to Dubstep, Pop music and 80’s music. They are very interesting and they are many artists that made good music in those genres so I hardly feel bored. My favourite artist I listen to is Michael Jackson, Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, and the Saturdays; Alien Ant Farm, Phil Collin’s and more.

I adore watching movies, i spend most of my Saturday weekend’s watching movies. Action movies mostly attract me because it is filled with so much tension, even though; it is easy to detect what could possibly happen next. My favourite actors/actress is Will Smith, Angelina Jolie, Vin Diesel, Jackie Chan, Chis Tucker and more. So far my favourite movies I’ve watched are Avengers, Rush Hour 3, Safe, and Transporter, Transformers, Hurricane Season, pursuit of happiness and more.

Other Information

I’m a very talkative person; I always have something to say. My friends wanted me to become a politician because I can argue for a long time just to get my point across. I’m a persuasive person; I like to have things my way because I feel it will be safer that way.

I had done my work experience in Marks and Spencer in year 10 for a week. I enjoyed working in a big company because I got a chance to socialise with different people; I learned new skills and developed the ones I already had. I always wanted to work behind a till, and I had got my chance. I enjoyed my experience even though it was quite hard because I got lost a couple of times.

• Video format: Video is the technology of electronically capturing, recording, processing, storing, transmitting, and reconstructing a sequence of still images representing scenes in motion. For Example, Mov, Avi, MJPEG etc. 
• Streaming: Streaming media are multimedia that are constantly received by, and normally presented to, an end-user while being delivered by a streaming provider. For Example, they are used for audio or video playback. 
• File Compression: In computer science and information theory, data compression or source coding is the process of encoding information using fewer bits (or other information-bearing units) than an unencoded representation would use, through use of specific encoding schemes. For Example, they are used for space storage;Smaller files mean less space for storage and now files can be compressed up to 1/100th of the original. 
• Aspect Ratios: The ratio of the width to the height of the image on a television screen. The ratio of two dimensions of something as considered from a specific direction, in particular. For example, 4:3 , 16:9.

Task 5

They are many useful ways that can be used to structure my time. they are different techniques such as setting up timetables, to-do lists etc. 

Firstly, The easiest way i can structure my time is if i have a to-do list planned out. it will be less easier to lose because i can have my to-do list written on my mobile phone , on paper etc. How I choose to set up my to-do list is plan what is the most important part of my coursework. So, during the days i'm free i can chose to start planning my video in the morning, and during the afternoon i can work on my storyboard. this will save time. On other day i could choose to record my video and edit them, because it will give me some free time for another day or hour to evaluate what i've planned and recorded as well having some free-time. 

In my to-do list i will also set targets for myself and partner to achieve our criteria. This could build our motivation for the project. i will try avoid distractions changing how much time I socialize with people because I easily get carried away with speaking to people rather than focusing. 

Secondly, If i find that i'm struggling with the work, i have people who i can get support from, such as my study buddy, my tutor/lecture. However, i will try to also work independently so i develop my own understanding of the work. 

thirdly,I have many resources available for me to use such as the internet. I can use the internet to look at others works and see how i can benefit from what they've done to improve my work and to further my information on the work. Another resource which is useful is the library if i need to edit my coursework but my classroom is not available, i can finish the work there or at home. 

fourthly, I will review my projects often; so, i can spot the errors i've made and what me or my partner need to fix. This will enable me to identify my strengths; so i can build upon it and weakness, so i can find out what i need to improve.

Lastly, i will try to remain an effective learner, so i can push myself further and develop my knowledge as an individual and team partner. 

overall, I will try my best to work hard and improve on my project.
