Vertigo Films is a British Film Production and film distribution company based in London, England. Vertigo Films has been responsible for the production and distribution of Bronson, StreetDance 3D and Monsters. It’s A Film and Television Industry, Co- Founders are James Richardson (Producer of Kiss Kiss (Bang Bang)), Allah Niblo (Producer of Human Traffic), Nick Love (screenwriter and prior to company formation, director of Goodbye Charlie Bright and The Football Factory) and Managing Director & Distributer Rupert Preston (Distributor of Chopper, Chasing Amy and Bride of Chucky, among others) and Entrepreneur Rob Morgan. They make Products such as Vertigo Films, Vertigo Distribution and Vertigo TV. The company was formed for the express purpose of distributing and producing two films, The Football Factory and its All Gone Pete Tong: its current stated goal is to produce and distribute four films per year.
In Production
Vertigo is currently in the final stages of post-production for Street Dance 2, the sequel to box office success Street Dance 3D which was released on 21 May 2010.
Also in post-production is an English language remake of Nicolas Winding Refn’s film Pusher. Directed by Luis Prieto, lead cast include international super model and actress Agyness Deyn; Brit Richard Coyle; Bronson Webb, Neil Maskell and Paul Kaye
Founder Nick Love's fourth feature for Vertigo Films is to be based on the UK TV show The Sweeney and is due for release in 2012
Vertigo recently announced in January 2012 its plans to produce a spin-off to theStreetDance film series with StreetDance Juniors.
Vertigo Films released the English-language version of Mexico's 3D flash animated film, Top Cat: The Movie on June 1, 2012, which is based on a popular Hanna-Barber cartoon, Top Cat, which is also very popular in Latin America and the United Kingdom. It became the first animated feature film that the company produced.
